The History of Majesty Quartet

The ministry of Majesty Quartet has seen many faces and voices over the years.

elow is a virtual timeline which shows the history of Majesty Quartet.

​It is also meant as a huge 
THANK YOU to all who have given their time and talents to this exciting ministry.

​The Beginning

Majesty Quartet began as Unto Him in 2001 when they performed together
​for the first time at the October Emmaus Gathering in Sidney, Ohio.


​2001 - 2002


Original members (pictured left to right) included Bill Halter, Rob Kilgore,
​
Jerry Noble and Don Burley.

​2002 - 2006

Jeff Smalley (pictured left in photo)
​joined Unto Him in 2002 and took
​over the reigns as lead tenor.

"Unto Him," their self-titled and first recorded CD, was released in 2005.


​2006 - 2013

2006 marked the year that
Tim Walls joined and became
​the fourth voice of Unto Him.

"Grace," Unto Him Quartet's sophomore album, was released in 2012.

​2013 - Summer 2015


Unto Him went trio in 2013. They also found
a music coach and mentor in 
Roy Webb,
former piano player for Ernie Haase and
​Signature Sound Quartet. Roy 
has since
become their producer as well.

"Favorites," a collection of hymns, was released in May of 2014. This album marked their first release as a trio and was arranged & produced by Roy Webb

"Classics Vol. 1" was released in April of 2015. Their second trio album. Like "Favorites," it was arranged and produced by Roy Webb.


​September 2015

Unto Him went quartet again by
adding a bass, Ward McBrien, to the mix.
Ward helped complete the sound
that Roy Webb desired for the group.

"It's Christmas" was released in December 2015. Unto Him's first Cd since once again becoming a quartet. ​

​2016

Unto Him re-brands and
​becomes
Majesty Quartet.
